About the Role

Built directly into Adelaide Airport, Atura Adelaide Airport is a fast-paced hotel where our kitchen keeps travellers and guests fed around the clock, from Hangar Bar & Grill's breakfast service through to dinner and happy hour.



We're looking for a Kitchen Hand to support our chefs and keep the kitchen running cleanly and efficiently. This role is perfect for someone reliable who enjoys a busy environment and wants to be a key part of a supportive kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitise crockery, cutlery, cookware, and kitchen equipment to a high standard, in line with food safety requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, benches, and equipment throughout and at the end of each shift.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks and the timely delivery of clean equipment during service.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling in line with hotel and environmental procedures.
- Safely operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment, reporting any faults promptly.
- Monitor and maintain stock of cleaning supplies and kitchen consumables.
- Follow all WH&S;, hygiene, and food safety procedures at all times.

What You'll Bring

- No previous experience required - a strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in matters most.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
- Physical capability to manage the demands of the role, including standing, lifting,



and repetitive tasks.
- A team player who communicates well with chefs and fellow kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
