Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. With a long life of mine and low operating costs, the mine has a bright outlook. Since 2005, we have grown to become one of the largest surface mines in Australia, whilst continuing to foster a culture underpinned by safety, achievement, flexibility and teamwork to improve the skills of each and every person on the mine site every day.

About the Role

/n

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Boilermaker (HME) to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the Maintenance team and reporting directly to the HME Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

/n

/n

- Effectively and efficiently operating and monitoring equipment to facilitate achievement of plans and targets.

/n

- Participate and contribute to our proactive safety culture.

/n

- Maintain a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.

/n

- Achieve targets in a timely manner.

/n

- Identify, assess and control workplace hazards.

/n/n

About You

/n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

/n

/n

- Relevant Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker

/n

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an open-cut coal mine

/n

- Ability to work effectively with a multifaceted team of contractors and site personnel.

/n

- Excellent interpersonal, cooperative, and facilitation skills when interacting with various levels of

/n

- management, external bodies, and agencies.

/n





- Excellent safety mindset with the ability to positively influence the culture at Rolleston

/n

- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a team workplace

/n

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

/n

- Relevant experience with SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
