What you'll do

Requirements

- A PhD in a relevant discipline such as computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in research or industry roles related to AI and cybersecurity.




- Proven track record of securing research funding and publishing in high-impact journals.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior researchers and students.

Nice to have

- Experience in collaborating with defense or government organizations.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and cybersecurity protocols.

Skills & tools

Practical notes

Salary range is between $171,341 and $188,469 per year, in addition to a 17% superannuation contribution.

This role is based at the City East Campus and offers a fixed-term contract of 3 years.
