About the Role
As the Primary Arabic Teacher, you will deliver engaging Arabic lessons to students from Foundation to Year 6, typically working with one year level across the school. You'll become part of an experienced specialist faculty where collaboration, planning and student engagement are highly valued.
The school is seeking a teacher who can confidently deliver the Arabic curriculum while building positive relationships with students and contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning culture.
Although the position may initially commence on a fixed-term contract, the school is seeking a long-term addition to its teaching team, with strong opportunities for ongoing employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Arabic language lessons across Foundation to Year 6
Develop learning experiences aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and school expectations
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence, curiosity and language development
Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback
Work collaboratively with specialist colleagues and support staff to maximise student outcomes
Build positive relationships with students, families and the wider school community
Contribute positively to the values, culture and broader life of the school
You will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Education with the ability to teach Arabic
Current or pending Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
Demonstrated experience teaching Arabic language curriculum within a primary school setting
Strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
A willingness to support and uphold the values and ethos of an independent Islamic school
Full Australian working rights are highly regarded
