Coffs Harbour & District Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses to join its Short Stay Unit at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus for a 12-week contract running from September through early December 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care setting on the NSW mid-north coast. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00, with four positions available for nurses ready to commit to the full contract period and embrace rostered shift work.

- 12-week contract position with four places available, September to December 2026
- AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00 per hour, working rostered shifts in an acute care setting
- Based at Coffs Harbour Health Campus, NSW, with access to clinical support and compliance training

Preferred Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse




- Availability for the full 12-week contract period with flexibility to work rostered shifts
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems, or the ability to quickly learn new clinical software
- Ability to meet all NSW Health compliance requirements before commencement
- Sound clinical judgment and the capacity to work effectively in a short-stay acute care setting

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Recent experience in an acute care or short-stay unit environment
- Familiarity with NSW Health systems and protocols
