We're excited to welcome an Advanced Project Officer to our Allied Health Team.
As an Advanced Project Officer for the Multi-HHS Pilot Complex Seating and Capability-Building Project, you will collaborate closely with a broad range of key stake holders across multiple Health and Hospital Services to provide expert project management support for the successful delivery of a multidisciplinary Complex Seating Clinic. Your work will focus on driving service innovation, clinical redesign, capability building, and program implementation across the regions.
The Allied Health Advanced Project Officer will apply advanced clinical expertise and specialised project management skills to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement and service planning initiatives. This specific project will focus on piloting dedicated Seating Services within SCHHS and GCHHS, supported by Rehabilitation Engineering at Metro North HHS, aiming to improve the health, independence, and long-term outcomes of people with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) or Spinal Cord Injury (SCI).

Key Responsibilities include:
- Follow project management process methodology across the lifecycle of the clinical or non-clinical innovation, ensuing alignment of project with Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) and/or Allied Health strategies and plans.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the continuum of complex patient care, to identify innovative strategies which support the delivery of person-centred, evidence-based,
sustainable and integrated health services to achieve optimal patient and service outcomes.
- Proactively manage risks and issues by identifying, assessing, and implementing mitigation strategies, ensuring documentation, regular reviews, and appropriate escalation.
- Utilisation of clinical information systems and other relevant technologies to enhance practice, decision-making, and service delivery outcomes - leveraging data and systems to monitor and analyse key performance indicators and outcomes.
Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $172 615 p.a., comprising salary rates: $73.12 - $76.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (Fixed term temporary part time position available for 18 months, 45.6 hrs p.f.).
