Make a meaningful difference with us

We’re looking for someone who wants to make the world a little better through small moments that leave big impacts.

Step into a pivotal leadership role at the forefront of UnitingCare’s philanthropic transformation, where your proven experience leading capital campaigns within complex organisations will directly shape the future of healthcare in our communities. As Senior Manager, Capital Campaigns, you will bring strong philanthropy expertise and a track record of delivering large-scale multi-year campaigns—leading strategy, governance and execution to secure significant investment in life-changing infrastructure and services.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced campaign leader to drive high-impact campaigns from the ground up—establishing the systems, rhythm and collaboration required to deliver meaningful outcomes at scale. Working in close partnership with clinical leaders, executives and fundraising teams, you will guide direction and delivery to ensure each campaign is strategically positioned, donor-centred and set up for long-term success.

If you are driven by purpose and bring deep experience leading capital campaigns, this role offers the platform to deliver transformational initiatives that will share the future of care for generations.

Please note, this position is Full Time, Permanent. Flexibility is key to us, and we know it is to you, too - this role supports hybrid working by agreement.

Your part in our UnitingCare team:

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-year capital campaigns, providing senior leadership across strategy, governance and execution in a complex organisational environment.

Establish and oversee robust governance, reporting and decision-making frameworks to support Executive and Board oversight.

Drive alignment across all campaign phases, ensuring coordinated delivery, effective donor engagement and momentum across all workstreams

Provide leadership in navigating complexity – proactively managing risks, dependencies and competing priorities to deliver successful campaign outcomes at a large scale.

Lead and develop a high-performing campaign delivery function, fostering accountability, capability uplift and cross-functional collaboration.

Act as the central leadership point across fundraising, marketing, clinical and executive stakeholders – aligning diverse groups to a share campaign vision.

Oversee campaign pipeline strategy, performance insights and systems to support relationship-led fundraising outcomes

Proven experience leading large-scale capital campaigns end-to-end within complex, multi-stakeholder organisations (essential)

Demonstrated success operating at a senior level, providing strategic oversight, governance and direction across the full campaign lifecycle

Deep understanding of capital campaigns disciplines and best practice, ideally within healthcare, philanthropy or similarly complex environments

Strong experience engaging and influencing executive and board-level stakeholders, including decision-making processes

Ability to align with diverse stakeholder groups (clinical, executive, fundraising, marketing etc) to deliver coordinated campaign outcomes at scale

Highly developed project leadership capability across planning, risk management, financial oversight and delivery of multi-year initiatives
