Neysie Auto Service Centre (Neysie Pty Ltd) is looking for a qualified Motor Mechanic to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

Tasks

- Conduct inspections of vehicles
- All round servicing and maintenance of vehicles
- Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups
- Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts
- Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
- Repairing and/or replacing worn out or broken parts
- Reassembling engines and parts after servicing and/or parts being replaced or repaired

Qualifications & Experience Required

- A relevant qualification or Trade Certificate
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Skills required

- Knowledge of systems and components installed in a car
- Computer diagnostic competence
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals
- Understand safety procedures required in an automotive workshop
- Ability to use various instruments and tools
- Patience in handling complex issues and ability to find possible solutions
- Ability to adapt to working with current technology and different vehicle models
