About the Company

Our client is a well-established Tier 2 mechanical services contractor with a strong reputation across NSW.

Specialising in commercial HVAC construction and mechanical services, they deliver high-quality solutions across a range of sectors including commercial developments, healthcare, education, industrial facilities, and major construction projects.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys being hands-on, leading site teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Managing day-to-day site operations across commercial HVAC projects

- Coordinating HVAC installation works, subcontractors, suppliers, and site resources

- Leading site teams to achieve project milestones and completion targets

- Ensuring all works are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications

- Reviewing and interpreting mechanical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation

- Liaising with builders, engineers, consultants, and project management teams

- Managing site programming,



labour requirements, materials, and deliveries

- Conducting site inspections, toolbox meetings, and quality assurance checks

- Identifying and resolving technical issues and construction challenges

- Supporting commissioning, testing, balancing, and project handover activities

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Foreman within commercial HVAC/mechanical services

- Trade qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or Mechanical Services

- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC installations and construction processes

- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams

- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications

- Robust knowledge of WHS requirements and site compliance

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities

- Current Australian Driver’s Licence

Desirable Experience

- Experience delivering commercial HVAC projects valued between $200k – $5M

- Exposure to Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction environments

- Experience across healthcare, data centres, education, or major commercial developments
