We are partnering with a highly regarded commercial HVAC and mechanical services business that continues to experience strong growth across Sydney. Due to an increasing workload, they are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join their team.

This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial sites including hospitals, aged care facilities, schools, commercial office buildings, hospitality venues, retail centres and large residential developments.

Whether your background is primarily service, maintenance, fault finding or installation, this role provides the opportunity to further develop your skillset and become a true all-round HVAC professional.

The Opportunity
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a broad range of HVAC equipment while managing your own schedule across multiple client sites.

Supported by an experienced management and coordination team, you will enjoy a high level of autonomy while working within a business known for its strong culture, training and long-term staff retention.

Key Responsibilities

- Commercial HVAC service and preventative maintenance
- Reactive breakdown response and fault finding
- Installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment
- Servicing VRV/VRF systems, split systems and ducted systems
- Working on AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems and mechanical plant
- System testing, commissioning and performance optimisation
- Electrical and mechanical diagnostics
- Completion of service reports and documentation
- Liaising directly with facility managers and site stakeholders




- Supporting apprentices and junior technicians when required
- Working safely in accordance with industry standards and company procedures

What We're Looking For

- Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Minimum 12 months post-trade experience
- Experience within commercial HVAC environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Current NSW Driver Licence
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship

Highly Regarded

- Restricted or Unrestricted Electrical Licence
- Contractor or Supervisor Licence
- Experience with Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric or similar systems
- Experience working within healthcare, education, commercial or critical environment facilities
