Project Coordinator
Fixed-Term (2 Years), Full Time Opportunity
Salary Range - $118,270 - $126,021 plus superannuation (depending on skills and experience)

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the City of Mitcham as a Project Coordinator, supporting the successful delivery of Council's TechnologyOne Property & Rating Project.
Working closely with project team members and stakeholders across the organisation, you will coordinate project activities, deliver key project tasks to agreed timeframes, monitor progress, manage reporting and governance processes, and oversee the data cleansing workstream to ensure project milestones are achieved.
This is a diverse and collaborative role where you will combine hands-on task delivery, project coordination, stakeholder engagement and governance to support one of Council's key digital transformation initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience providing project coordination or project support within a complex organisation. Experience leading technical workstreams involving system implementation, data migration, testing, deployment and system integration.
- Experience maintaining project plans, registers, documentation and reporting.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing reports for senior stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating meetings, actions and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and commitment to delivering quality project outcomes.
- Holds an unencumbered Australian driver’s licence.
Qualifications in Project Management, Business Administration or a related discipline, together with experience in Local Government or supporting data quality and governance initiatives, will be highly regarded.
