Consumer Experience & Quality Officer
Part-Time or Casual | 0.6 FTE (48 Hours per Fortnight)

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is seeking a passionate and motivated Consumer Experience & Quality Officer to join our dynamic Quality and Innovation Team.

This is an exciting chance for someone who is committed to improving healthcare experiences and outcomes for consumers, residents, clients, and the wider community. In this role, you will help ensure consumer feedback and engagement are at the heart of everything we do, supporting quality improvement initiatives, compliance activities, and organisational excellence across REDHS.

About the Role

As our Consumer Experience & Quality Officer, you will:

- Champion consumer participation and engagement across the organisation

- Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of consumer feedback and experience data

- Assist with quality improvement projects and organisational accreditation activities

- Contribute to the development and monitoring of quality, safety, and compliance systems

- Work collaboratively with staff, consumers, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement

- Help ensure REDHS continues to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care

About You

You are a proactive and organised professional who is passionate about quality healthcare and consumer-centred service delivery.

Essential

- Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in healthcare, quality improvement, consumer engagement, community services, administration, or a related field





- Experience supporting quality or performance improvement initiatives, preferably within healthcare

- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting and presenting data

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant communication and reporting tools

- Excellent project coordination and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

- Commitment to maintaining privacy, confidentiality, and professional integrity

- Understanding of quality, risk, safety, and compliance frameworks and associated legislation

Desirable

- Qualified Certificate in Customer Experience or a willingness to undertake further study in this area

- Experience in consumer engagement, patient experience, or healthcare accreditation processes

We are a publicly funded Small Rural Health Service, providing a broad range of acute, residential aged care, preventative and primary health programs to a population of approximately 8,600 people from Rochester and surrounds.
