Our client is a leading 3PL provider across Industrial, Retail & FMCG sectors and is searching for Day Shift Team Leader.Our client is an Australian Marketing & Communications company that provides end-to-end services and campaign distribution. A leading 3PL provider supporting customers nationally across Industrial, Retail & FMCG sectors.

Hours and Payrate
Temp to permanent arrangement for the right candidate
7:30am - 3:30pm
$36-$38 per hour

The Role:

- Oversee dayshift shift pick, pack, dispatch, and forklift operations
- Oversee a team of 6 operators
- High reach forklift operating
- Adjust permanent and casual staffing to match daily volumes
- Assign labour to meet cut-offs
- Monitor productivity, accuracy, and safety
- Support and coach team members
- Manage overtime and shift coverage
- Coordinate smooth handovers with other teams
- Ensure WHS compliance
- Identify and address risks and resourcing issues





Required skills & attributes:

- Experience supervising teams in 3PL or high-volume warehouses
- WMS skills - computer usage along with M
- Communication skills to liaise with clients, transport and internal team
- Strong leadership across mixed skill levels
- Able to plan labour and adapt to changing workloads
- LF forklift licence essential
- Available for afternoon shifts
- Clear communicator with solid problem-solving skills
- WMS and RF scanning experience desirable
- Must have own Car & Licence
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work unsupervised and use initiative
- High focus on quality, accuracy and productivity
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and commitment to work
