About the role
Contract duration: Ongoing, dependent on funding
Contract type: Full time, 38 hours per week
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 04:30pm
Location: Alice Springs
Salary: $84,306.13 - $94,414.56 p.a. plus superannuation

Role description
The Health Systems Support Officer will participate as a member of the Health Systems Team and will report to the Health Systems Manager.
This is an administration operational role to support the Health Systems and PHMO teams with some support to the AMSANT Alice Springs Office with clerical/administration related tasks to ensure efficient operations of the office.
Responsibilities
General Office Duties:
- Coordinate general office supports for the Alice Springs staff.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Maintain office filing systems (both electronic and physical).
- Assist in ensuring Alice Springs vehicles are maintained and repaired as required
- Process invoices and assist with accounts payable/receivable tasks
Administrative Support:
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and events for the Health Systems and PHMO teams.
- Prepare minutes, reports, presentations, correspondence and newsletters as required for the Health Systems and PHMO teams.
- Assist with event organisation, travel arrangements and expense tracking.
- Other duties as directed by the Health Systems Manager.
Selection Criteria (qualifications and attributes)
Essential
- High level minute taking, office administration and organisational skills including application of standard Microsoft office programs such as Word and Excel Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Experience in records management procedures, protocols and practice
- Project management and logistic skills particularly around organising large meetings
- Awareness and respect of Aboriginal culture and knowledge of current issues effecting the lives of Aboriginal people.
Desirable
- Experience working in an Aboriginal community controlled organisation.
