About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Works Program Analyst to support the development, management and monitoring of integrated maintenance and capital works programs.

Working closely with planning, operational and delivery teams, you will analyse work demand, optimise program schedules, monitor performance and provide data-driven insights to support effective decision-making. The role plays a key part in ensuring work programs are achievable, resources are utilised effectively, and potential delivery risks are identified early.

This opportunity is ideal for a professional who enjoys working with complex datasets, developing meaningful reports and dashboards, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve operational performance and program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse and validate work requirements and program data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Consolidate work demand into optimised and achievable maintenance and capital works programs
- Balance work demand against available resources and operational constraints to support effective program delivery
- Monitor works program performance and provide regular reporting, analysis and recommendations
- Develop reports, dashboards and data-driven insights for a range of stakeholders
- Extract, cleanse and analyse data from multiple systems to support planning and decision-making
- Identify trends, improvement opportunities and areas requiring attention
- Identify, monitor and communicate potential risks impacting program delivery
- Maintain program accuracy through ongoing reviews, updates and compliance monitoring activities
- Liaise with planning, operational and delivery teams to support integrated program objectives
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements

About You – Essential

- Relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline




- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working with databases, reporting tools and large datasets
- Proven ability to cleanse, manipulate and analyse complex data
- Experience developing reports, dashboards and performance metrics
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present complex information to a diverse range of stakeholders
- Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Desirable

- Experience within utilities, infrastructure, resources, government or other asset-intensive environments
- Understanding of maintenance planning, works programs, scheduling or asset management principles
- Project development, project controls or project management experience
- Leadership or management training and experience
- Knowledge of electrical assets, maintenance delivery environments or infrastructure operations
