The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Graduate Accountant to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative boutique firm environment where you will gain exposure to a broad range of clients and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will work closely with senior team members and partners across a range of accounting and advisory matters, including:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Business advisory and taxation services
- BAS and IAS preparation and lodgment
- Tax planning and compliance
- Assisting with business advisory engagements
- Liaising directly with clients and providing ongoing support
- Keeping abreast of changes in taxation legislation and accounting standards
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A degree in Accounting
- A positive attitude and excellent willingness to learn
- Intention to complete CA or CPA qualification
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
