About the Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership on site, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades while maintaining project programme and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the construction programme.

- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour to maintain productivity and quality standards.

- Monitor construction progress and proactively identify and resolve site issues.

- Conduct daily pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and site safety inspections.

- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company procedures,



the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and project specifications.

- Inspect workmanship and completed works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

- Review construction drawings and coordinate site activities to minimise delays and rework.

- Assist with developing and maintaining short-term construction programmes, including weekly 4–6-week look-ahead schedules.

- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure adequate resources are available to maintain project progress.

- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to resolve site-related issues.

- Maintain accurate site records, including daily site diaries, inspections, defects, and quality documentation.

- Assist the Site Manager in achieving programme, quality, safety, and project completion objectives throughout the construction lifecycle.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum five years' experience as a Site Foreman on new-build Class 2 residential apartment projects.

- Demonstrated experience delivering the complete construction lifecycle of Class 2 residential apartment developments, from demolition, excavation to structure, fit-out through to Occupation Certificate (OC) and project handover, is essential.





- Experience delivering luxury residential apartment projects will be highly regarded.

- Trade qualification in Carpentry or a related building trade is highly desirable.

- Solid understanding of Class 2 residential apartment construction methods, sequencing, and finishing standards.

- Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and WHS requirements.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and services drawings.

- Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously.

- Hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.

- Experience using Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office is highly regarded.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
