The role:
Seeking a hands-on HR Project Manager to lead complex workforce transformation initiatives within a high-profile NSW Government agency. Acting as a project controller, you will drive strategic people programs end-to-end, translating high-level workforce strategy into operational reality while owning the project schedule, RAID logs, and executive governance reporting.

Note: This is a structural workforce and organisational change role, it is not an IT or HRIS software rollout.

What you'll be doing:

- Own scope, baseline schedules, RAID logs, and action registers in strict alignment with NSW Public Sector standards.
- Drive organisational design, capability alignment, and workforce transition initiatives to improve operational readiness.
- Deliver clear, data-informed status reports, risk escalations,



and briefing papers to senior sponsors and Steering Committees.
- Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and apply structured change frameworks to ensure smooth business-as-usual (BAU) transition

Desired Skills and Experiences:

- Experience leading complex workforce restructures, people programs, or organisational change in large, regulated environments.
- Strong ability to navigate competing priorities, provide evidence-based advice to senior leaders, and apply government governance standards.
- PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, or equivalent demonstrated skilled project delivery experience
