Service Advisor – Gilbert & Roach Trucks

Gilbert & Roach Trucks is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our professional aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in the heavy vehicle or light automotive industry who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless service experience.

About the Role

As the Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating service and repair requirements while maintaining clear communication throughout the repair process. You will work closely with workshop supervisors and management to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and accurately assess their service requirements.

- Prepare repair orders and service estimates.

- Schedule workshop bookings and coordinate daily workflow.

- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding repair progress.

- Process invoices and associated documentation when required.

- Deliver outstanding customer service while building long-term customer relationships.





- Ensure compliance with company procedures and manufacturer standards.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience within the heavy vehicle, truck, or light automotive industry.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Strong organisational and time management abilities.

- Experience using dealership management systems (preferred).

- The ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

- A professional presentation and positive attitude.

- A current driver's licence.
