Salary: Band 2 commencing from $72,270 per year (+ superannuation)

Employment type: Full Time

Location: Mildura

About the Role

As our Licensing & Entitlements Officer, you will play an important role in supporting rural customers by delivering accurate, timely and professional service in relation to water licensing and entitlement transactions.

Working as part of the Rural Services team, you will process complex transactions within the Victorian Water Register and internal business systems while maintaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships. You will contribute to service excellence, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives that support organisational objectives.

What You Will Be Doing

- Deliver high-quality customer service via phone, email and face-to-face interactions.

- Process licensing and entitlement transactions using the Victorian Water Register and internal business systems.

- Maintain accurate customer records, reports and documentation to support compliance and audit requirements.

- Assist with reviewing and improving processes, systems and documentation to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve enquiries, complaints and service requests.

- Prepare reports and information in line with legislative, statutory and organisational requirements.

- Build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Comply with safety, environmental and organisational policies and procedures.

About You





We are looking for someone who brings a combination of skills, experience and a willingness to learn.

You may have:

- Certificate III in Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline, or significant customer service experience in a medium-to-large organisation.

- Experience analysing, reviewing and interpreting data in a complex environment.

- Knowledge of the rural water industry and Victorian Water Entitlement Framework (desirable).

- Experience using GIS and property-based information systems.

- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

- Well-developed analytical, reporting and problem-solving capabilities.

You'll also demonstrate:
