Exciting opportunity to be part and lead Manningham Council Capital works program. This role provides the opportunity of an exceptional candidate to help shape the delivery of exciting projects including major roads reconstruction and aquatic facilities. The role will suit someone with strong program management experience and high levels of financial acumen. Manningham Council has exceptional delivery rates of it capital program and we are seeking someone who will be able to build on an improve the Capital delivery and improve levels of collaboration with the organisation whilst fostering a positive culture.

About the role

This role is responsible for coordinating and governing Manningham Council's Capital Works Program, ensuring effective planning,



budgeting, scheduling and reporting across annual, four-year and ten-year programs. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will support the development and evaluation of capital works initiatives, maintain the integrity of program management systems, oversee changes to project schedules and budgets, and provide governance and secretariat support to the Capital Works Steering Committee. A key focus of the role is ensuring robust processes, data quality, risk management and best-practice program delivery to support informed decision-making and successful outcomes for Manningham Council.

Skills and experience

- Have a Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Administration, Project Management, Finance or Logistics.
- Extensive experience in Capital Works Program Scheduling.
- Experience in Project Management and or Contract Administration.
- Have a current Drivers licence.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
- Substantial experience in financial reporting to ensure transparency and good governance with the ability to effectively and efficiently produce materials to a deadline.
- Experienced in program development and management with ability to set priorities, business case evaluation, and plan and organise multiple tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and initiate responsive actions and solve problems as they arise.
