About the Position
The HR Administration Officer provides administrative and coordination support to the HR Workforce team. This development role maintains accurate employee records, supports recruitment and onboarding,
monitors workforce compliance, and assists with People and Performance initiatives to help employees receive a positive and professional experience throughout their employment journey.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Administration
- Provide administrative support to the HR team.
- Maintain and accurately update confidential employee records and personnel files.
- Assist with payroll-related administrative processes as required.
- Support rosters function within the organization
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate new starter inductions and orientation activities.
- Ensure new employees have completed all mandatory onboarding requirements and training.
3. Compliance & Workforce Administration
- Monitor workforce compliance requirements including:
- NDIS Worker Screening Checks (Yellow Card)
- Working with Children Checks (Blue Card)
- Qualifications and licences
- Mandatory training requirements
- Maintain audit-ready compliance records.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential
- Previous experience in an HR Administration or similar role.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines.
Desirable
- Experience within disability services, community services, healthcare, or the NDIS sector.
- Understanding of NDIS workforce compliance requirements.
- Experience using workforce management systems such as Tanda.
- Previous experience as HR consultant.
- Certificate IV, Diploma, or tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
