Campaspe Family Practice is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our busy team on a Casual basis.

The successful candidate will hit the ground running and be highly motivated with a sound background in customer service. Proficient computer skills are essential with a knowledge of medical software including Best Practice desirable.

Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Excellent customer service – you will be the first point of contact for our patients, in person and on the phone
- Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records
- Processing payments, Medicare and third-party claims and reconciliations
- Effective management of patient appointment types
- General administration and daily office duties
- Duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Good availability across Monday to Saturday,



with the ability to work rotating Saturdays as required
- Professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner
- High work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritise
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Robust organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a diverse team and independently
- High level attention to detail
- Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information
