Do you want to work with local government?

We are seeking an experienced civil construction Labourer to join our client's team. This is a hands‑on role supporting the road, civil and construction crews across the Port Stephens area.

You will work full time hours on a casual/ temporary basis , Monday to Friday, working a 9 day fortnight. Your day will start and finish at the Raymond Terrace depot.

- 9 day fortnight
- 6.30 am to 3.30 pm
- 2 - 3 months work

Duties:

- Carry out maintenance and repair of local roads, footpaths, and drainage systems.
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist in the setup and clean‑up of worksites.




- Follow all WHS procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors.

Key Requirements:

- White Card – Essential.
- General labouring experience, within a civil construction or road maintenance environment.
- Robust commitment to safety, teamwork, and delivering quality work.
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in a variety of conditions.
