Process Worker – Afternoon and Night Shift permanent positions available!

Autex is a global leader supplying a diverse range of interior acoustic products for walls and ceilings to markets all over the world. We manufacture and dispatch these products across Australia from our new, purpose built Essendon Fields facility. We are made up of experienced individuals who operate in a supportive and close network.

We are seeking applications for our Process Worker opportunities from people who pride themselves on their work ethic, take responsibility for their work, and have ability to work well in a team and seeking long term employment

These positions are across our Afternoon and Night Shift, which operate at the following times:

Afternoon Shift: 2pm – 10pm

Night Shift: 10pm – 6am

Key Responsibilities

- Operation of chipper / pelletiser




- Rotate through all tasks required in the production process as directed
- Package finished products and prepare them for delivery
- Ensure that all health and safety policies, practices and procedures are adhered to
- Ensure that all standard operating procedures are adhered to.
- Complete housekeeping duties to consistently maintain a clean workstation.
- Be aware of company policies and procedures relating to your position and ensure these are followed at all times
- Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by your manager from time to time.

About you

- Ability to read and understand Safe Operating Procedures and follow at all times
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Production line experience preferred
- A commitment to safety and OH&S; procedures and policies
- Punctual, responsible and reliable
- Willing to learn and undertake all tasks
- However, the most significant thing is that you are a culture fit – hard working, reliable, neat and tidy and the ability to work happily in a team environment.
