About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaner / Courier Driver to join our team at The Royal Children's Hospital . This is a hands-on role combining housekeeping and courier responsibilities to support the smooth operation of hospital services.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment while providing timely transport of supplies and equipment between hospital sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well independently and takes pride in delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain allocated areas in a clean and hygienic condition in accordance with work schedules and Victorian Health cleaning standards.
- Perform cleaning duties for example, Floor care, high dusting, damp wiping, spot cleaning, cleaning of walls, doors, glass, bathrooms and toilets and cleaning vents, equipment and kitchen appliances.
- Empty rubbish and waste bins daily and dispose of waste appropriately.




- Replenish washroom consumables and ensure dispensers are stocked and within expiry dates.
- Respond to spills and urgent cleaning requests.
- Monitor and order cleaning supplies while maintaining accurate stock records.

Courier Driver Duties

- Safely transport mail, medical records, cleaning products, computer equipment and other supplies between hospital sites.
- Complete deliveries to locations including Parkville, Travancore, Sunshine, Brimbank and Tarneit.
- Maintain accurate vehicle booking and trip records using the electronic booking system.
- Keep fleet vehicles clean, fuelled and in good working condition.
- Carry out routine vehicle inspections and report any damage or maintenance issues promptly.

About You

- A current Victorian Full Driver Licence with a protected driving record.
- Previous experience in commercial or healthcare cleaning is highly regarded.
- Basic computer skills for vehicle bookings and stock management.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and providing excellent customer service.
- The physical ability to undertake manual handling, lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
