For more than 45 years, Biala Peninsula has been supporting children with disabilities, developmental delays and additional needs, along with their families, across the Mornington Peninsula.

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our Administration Team in a part-time role , with school-friendly working hours that offer excellent work-life balance.

As the first point of contact for families, visitors and stakeholders, you will play a vital role in creating a warm, professional and welcoming experience while ensuring our reception and administrative functions run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide a professional and welcoming first point of contact for families, visitors and stakeholders.
- Manage phone, email and in-person enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Support appointment scheduling, confirmations and general service administration.
- Maintain reception, meeting rooms and office areas to a high standard.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, office supplies and general office requirements.
- Assist with a range of administrative tasks including document preparation, filing, scanning and record management.
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the office through effective organisation and attention to detail.
- Contribute to a positive, safe and team-oriented workplace culture.
- Comply with organisational policies, quality standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Participate in ongoing learning, continuous improvement and team initiatives.

About You





- You are a proactive and approachable administrator who thrives on helping people and keeping things organised. You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a cooperative team.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administration or customer service role
- Experience managing a busy reception desk and multiple priorities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
- A positive, professional and team-oriented approach

Desirable Qualifications

- Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar qualification
- Bookkeeping or finance administration experience
- Experience within disability, health, community services or not-for-profit sectors
- OHS/WHS training
