Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary (Blackburn)

Start: September 2026 Pay: £14.50 per hour

What you'll be doing

You’ll join a supportive Blackburn primary school, working closely with their strong SEND team to help pupils with SEMH and ASD needs thrive. Your day will include:

- Leading small group interventions to boost confidence and progress
- Adapting tasks to individual needs in KS1/KS2
- Providing structure and reassurance to promote positive routines
- Working alongside the SENCO and class teacher to improve outcomes

What you bring

- Confident, proactive behaviour management
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and ASD
- Ability to run focused interventions (e.g., phonics, reading, social skills)
- Proven experience making a real impact, such as:
- Reduced behaviour incidents
- Delivering targeted, measurable interventions
