Small Steps Academy is looking for 5 enthusiastic and passionate Childcare workers fulltime to join our amazing team

Qualifications Required. Currently be studying or hold a cert 111 or have a diploma in Early Childhood

The Role:

- Creating a safe, fun, warm and welcoming environment.
- Supporting and implementing a quality educational curriculum.
- Be enthusiastic, motivated, professional, flexible and reliable.
- Have a love and passion for working with Children 0-6years.
- Studying or holds therelevant qualification for position applying for.
- Assistance with documenting inline with EYLF, NQF and NQS.
- Communicate with families and parents.
- Ability to develop warm & respectful relationships with children & families
- Computer literacy as we provide electronic programming & portfolios.
- Successful applicant must be able to Passa National Police Check and hold a current Queensland Blue Card .

- Open-minded and innovative
- Establish and maintain team relationships with other early childhood educators
- Build fantastic rapport and incorporate a strong home-school partnership program with the parents
- Understand the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with focus to provide an excellent level of education and care to the children at the centre-based service
- First Aid Qualifications, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training,if successful.
