Flora Hill Medical Centre is seeking a skilled and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our energetic team in our practice located in Flora Hill, Victoria. This is a part-time role, offering flexible working hours to complement your lifestyle. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our medical practice.
What you'll be doing
Welcoming and greeting patients with a warm and professional manner
Scheduling and managing patient appointments efficiently
Handling telephone inquiries and directing calls to the appropriate team members
Assisting with patient registration and maintaining accurate patient records
Preparing and organising medical files and documentation
Providing general administrative support to the clinical team
Ensuring a clean, tidy and organised reception area
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients and team members in a compassionate and professional manner
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Proficient in using medical practice management software and standard office technologies
Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate patient records
A friendly, customer-focused attitude and a genuine interest in the healthcare industry
