We are looking for an experienced, qualified Small Engine Mechanic/Technician to join our workshop team on a part time/casual basis.
As a STIHL Elite Dealer, our workshop services and repairs a wide range of premium outdoor power equipment, backed by ongoing manufacturer training and access to genuine parts. You’ll service, diagnose and repair STIHL and other leading brands of outdoor power equipment, including chainsaws, brushcutters, lawn mowers and similar small engine machinery, working with both retail and trade customers to keep their equipment performing at its best.
What we’re looking for
- Qualified and experienced in servicing and repairing small engines
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across a range of outdoor power equipment
- Excellent customer service skills, with confidence discussing repairs, servicing and quotations directly with customers
- Willing to assist in other areas of the store when workshop demands allow
- Physically capable of lifting equipment and meeting the practical demands of the role
- Current driver’s licence
- Availability to work weekends (essential)
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, with the ability to follow workshop procedures, safe work practices and company policies
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently while contributing positively to the team
