We are looking for a Construction Supervisor/Foreman to manage a project that involves the upgrade of the Bendigo Recycled Water Factory from3 ML/day to 10 ML/day and includes the following major work packages:

Building

Extension to the existing Recycled Water Factory, including a new operational area and office.

Construction and fit-out of a meeting room, office, kitchenette, laboratory, and amenities.

Current roofs over chemical bunds.

Civil

Bulk earthworks.

Underground pipework, chemical culverts and electrical conduits.

Concrete slabs for new process tanks.

Modifications to existing chemical bunds and protective coatings.

Mechanical

Installation of a 250 kL balance tank.

Installation of pre-filter strainers, pumps and stainless-steel pipework.

Installation of ultra-filtration skids with associated stainless steel and PVC process pipework.

Installation of chemical storage tanks and dosing systems.

Relocation of existing water tanks.

Electrical & Instrumentation

Installation of new switchboards and distribution boards.

Power and control cabling, cable trays and field terminations.





The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Day-to-day supervision and coordination of all construction activities.

Managing multiple subcontractors and work fronts.

Daily liaison with the client.

Site safety leadership and inductions.

Construction quality and compliance.

Maintaining construction, safety, and QA documentation.

Assisting with mechanical completion and commissioning activities.

The role will be supported by a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Process Engineer and HSE Officer throughout the project. The Project Manager will typically be on site one to two days per week, with additional support provided as required.

Ideally, we're looking for someone who has:

Previous experience delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure or process plant projects.

Experience coordinating civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation trades.

Water, wastewater, mining, or industrial process plant experience.

Strong subcontractor management and planning skills.

A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to solve day-to-day site issues.

Good communication and computer skills.

Residence within approximately one hour of Bendigo.

Remuneration

$80- $85.00 per hour + super + coinvest

Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime

Consistent and ongoing work!

Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
