The Role

The HeadCoach ofTouchFootball will play a pivotal role in enhancing and leading ourtouchfootball program at Caulfield Grammar School. As a cornerstone of our school's sport offerings, this position is crucial in upholding ourhigh standardsoftouchfootball development, student inclusion, and quality coaching. Caulfield Grammar School takes immense pride in itssportprogram, supported by a strong pathway initiative thatbenefitsboth boys and girls.

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee this prestigious program in acasual/fixedterm–part-timeopportunity.

The successful candidate willbe responsible foradvancing thetouchfootball programon and off the field, includingthedesign and implementation ofperformancestandardsandgoals,program managementincludingresourcing,matchscheduling and associated administration tasks andmanaginga diversegroupofstakeholders.

Key Duties

- Design aTouchFootball curriculum that will promote a consistent and contemporary game style throughout all Year Levels and for all student abilities with clear performance goals andobjectives
- Overseeteam and player development and ensure that coaches conduct selectionsin accordance withCGS Selection Policy guidelines and communication with students istimelyand appropriate
- Identifyareas for coach development and prepare guidelines and materials to enhance coaching delivery andmaintainregular communication with coaches and monitoring of delivery of sports program




- Act as the school’s representative forTouchFootballandattend activities such as Presentation, Information Nights, Inductions, Premiership Assemblies etc. asrequired
- Alongsidethe Sport Department contribute to the planning and management ofresourcing, schedulingand oversight ofmatches, training sessions, and othertouchfootball-related events, while effectively managing thetouch football program’s budget, including funding for equipment, facilities, and travel.
- Explore,presentand deliver strategies to further promote and strengthen the sport.
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.

Skills and Experience

- Previousexperience managing and designing aTouchFootball program, preferably within APS environment or Community Sport atan elite Level
- The ability to effectively plan and implement a structured coaching curriculum/program for all coaches to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and relate to a diverse range ofstakeholders includingcoaches, students,andparents.
- Strong leadership,planningand administrative skills with the ability to work to specific timelines.
- Have a VictoriaEmployment Working with Children Check, Level 1 First Aid and Anaphylaxis Certification or be prepared to obtain these
- Level 2 Coaching Accreditation will behighly regarded
