A leading food manufacturer in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Dual Trade Maintenance Technician to join its engineering team on a permanent Monday to Friday afternoon shift (4:00pm – 12:30am).

Electricians or Mechanical Fitters with strong exposure to both electrical and mechanical maintenance are also encouraged to apply.
The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance across production equipment
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs
- Minimising downtime and improving plant reliability
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining high safety and food manufacturing standards
You'll be working across a variety of automated food processing and packaging equipment, including mixers, conveyors, forming units, breading systems, fryers and VFFS machinery.
About You
You will have:
- Electrical or Mechanical trade qualifications
- Dual trade qualifications or strong exposure to both mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or another quick-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- A proactive, team-focused approach
