About the role
This position is embedded within the commercial core of Airwallex, dedicated to empowering the ANZ sales organization to achieve optimal performance levels. You will serve as the critical connector between product strategy and day-to-day sales execution, ultimately driving revenue expansion and enhancing operational effectiveness across the region. The role demands someone who can translate high-level business objectives into actionable programs that directly impact how sales teams engage with customers and close deals.

What you'll do
- Collaborate closely with commercial leadership to identify, prioritize, and deliver strategic initiatives designed to improve funnel conversion rates and overall sales performance across the ANZ region.
- Transform go-to-market strategies and product launches into comprehensive, practical training curricula and enablement resources that sales representatives can immediately apply in customer conversations.
- Design, develop, and facilitate engaging onboarding programs for new commercial hires, ensuring they reach full productivity faster and with greater confidence in their product knowledge.
- Build and deliver ongoing product training sessions that keep existing sales staff current on current features, competitive positioning, and evolving customer use cases.
- Coordinate extensively with cross-functional partners including product, marketing, and operations teams to maintain a smooth commercial operating rhythm throughout the year.
- Organize and execute key commercial events such as sales kick-offs, quarterly business reviews, and structured feedback cycles that keep teams aligned and motivated.
- Analyze sales data, pipeline metrics, and funnel performance indicators to identify specific areas where coaching interventions or process improvements could yield meaningful results.
- Develop targeted coaching strategies based on data insights, working with sales managers to address skill gaps and reinforce winning behaviors across the team.
- Create and maintain a library of enablement assets including playbooks, battle cards,
objection handling guides, and competitive intelligence documents that support daily selling activities.
- Establish feedback mechanisms to continuously gather input from frontline sellers about what resources and training they need most, ensuring enablement efforts remain relevant and impactful.
- Monitor the effectiveness of enablement programs through defined success metrics, iterating on content and delivery methods based on measurable outcomes.
- Support the rollout of current sales tools and technologies by developing adoption strategies and training materials that drive consistent usage across the commercial organization.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in sales, revenue enablement, sales operations, or a closely aligned discipline, ideally gained within the fintech or financial services sector.
- Proven track record of partnering effectively with commercial leaders to design and implement enablement programs that delivered measurable improvements in sales performance.
- Hands‑on experience creating compelling sales training content and onboarding materials that resonate with adult learners and drive behavioral change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with demonstrated skill in managing relationships across multiple functions and seniority levels.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities with the discipline to juggle competing priorities and deliver quality work in a fast‑paced, rapidly evolving business environment.
- A self‑motivated, proactive approach to identifying problems and developing solutions without requiring constant direction or supervision.
- Strong attention to detail combined with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables that reflect well on the commercial organization.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and adapting quickly as business priorities shift or new opportunities emerge.
Nice to have
- Prior experience working within a high‑growth scale‑up environment or specifically within the fintech industry where rapid change is the norm.
- Direct experience supporting or enabling sales teams operating specifically within the Australia and Recent Zealand market.
- Familiarity with modern enablement platforms such as Highspot, Gong, Seismic, or learning management systems used to deliver and track training content.
- Experience leveraging data analytics to measure the impact of enablement initiatives and using those insights to continuously refine program design and delivery.
- Background in change management or organizational development that supports successful adoption of new processes and tools.
- Understanding of complex B2B sales cycles and the unique challenges of selling financial technology solutions to business customers.
