Established and creative multi-unitapartments builder, based in the South East Melbourne is looking for an experienced ConstructionProject Managerto expand its project team as a resultof steady growth andlong term secured work.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Comprehend complex documents.
- Identify complex project and contractual risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project and contractual risks.
- Establish a cohesive project team with defined responsibilities.
- Manage the implementation of the construction program and amend as required.
- Prepare quality short and long term program.
- Provide support for site staff in resolving any issues that may be associated with the scheduling and coordination of trade contractors and suppliers.
- Oversee, coach and mentor the works of the Contracts Administration team.
- Take ownership for the project budget and liaise with site staff to ensure project targets are achieved.
- Implement and monitor OH&S;
- Effectively liaise with the Client to ensure a long-standing relationship is maintained.
- Report to the Construction Manager on a regular basis and advise of any current or potential issues
- Track progress and report status and variances and create action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
- Manage and liaise consultants & subcontractors onall levels including implementation of quality scopes.
- Manage Project Control Group Meetings (PCG) with clients, consultants and other stakeholders.
- Chair site meetings which include trades, supervisors and managers.
- Deliver expected level of quality throughout project.
Core competencies include:
- Building related degree or trade background.
- Demonstrated successful history as Project Manager on D&C; Commercial and Domestic projects between 10 to 30 million.
- Proficient with project management software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership.
- Energetic with can do attitude.
