ABOUT OUR CLIENT AND THE ROLE

Our client is a well established Australian business seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join the team on a 10 week contract during a critical reporting period. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll take ownership of preparing three sets of annual reduced disclosure statutory financial statements for privately owned entities while also supporting the implementation of Accurri.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare three sets of annual statutory financial statements for privately owned entities.
- Build and review reduced disclosure financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.
- Ensure all financial statements are completed by the end of September ahead of the statutory lodgement deadline.
- Lead the implementation of Accurri, including importing and validating existing financial mappings.
- Work closely with the finance team to resolve technical accounting and reporting queries.




- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and support the successful transition into the new reporting system.

ABOUT YOU

- CA or CPA qualified accountant with strong technical financial reporting experience, ideally gained within audit or a commercial financial reporting environment.
- Demonstrated experience preparing complete annual statutory financial statements.
- Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards.
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Previous Accurri experience, or experience with similar statutory reporting software, will be highly regarded.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- A hands on, solutions focused approach with exceptional attention to detail.
