We are seeking a commercially minded Financial & Management Accountant who wants to do more than prepare reports. This is an opportunity to become a trusted business partner to operational leaders, helping shape decisions that drive performance across one of Australia's most iconic wine and hospitality destinations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group CFO and working closely with the Group Financial Controller and department leaders, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management of the Estate.

This is a hands-on position where you'll work across the entire business - from the vineyard and winery through to accommodation, restaurant, events and tourism operations - providing the financial insights and analysis that support commercial decision-making and operational excellence.

You'll help leaders understand their numbers, identify opportunities for improvement, drive accountability against budgets, and contribute to the continued growth and success of Levantine Hill Estate.

Based in at Head Office in the Melbourne CBD.





What You'll Be Doing

Prepare accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports.

Deliver meaningful analysis of actual performance against budgets and forecasts.

Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes.

Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide operational leaders with actionable insights.

Business Partnering

Work closely with managers across hospitality, accommodation, events, wine sales and operations.

Provide financial guidance that helps departments achieve their performance objectives.

Support commercial decision-making through financial modelling and analysis.

Educate and support stakeholders to improve financial understanding and accountability.

Operational Finance

Monitor revenue performance, labour costs, margins and operational expenditure.

Assist with cashflow forecasting and working capital management.

Identify trends, risks and opportunities across the Estate's operations.

Support initiatives that improve profitability, efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Maintain the integrity of financial records, reconciliations and general ledger accounts.

Working closely with on and offshore finance teams to maintain the integrity of financial records, reconciliations and general ledger accounts

Support month-end, year-end and audit processes.





Ensure compliance with taxation, statutory obligations and internal controls.

Assist in maintaining the integrity of ERP and financial systems.

About You

You are commercially curious, highly analytical and enjoy building relationships with people across the business.

You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy understanding how operations work and helping managers achieve better business outcomes through sound financial management.

Ideally, You'll Bring

CA or CPA qualified (or working towards completion).

A minimum of 5 years’ Australian accounting experience.

3+ years' experience in management accounting, financial accounting or commercial finance.

Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis experience.

Excellent Excel and financial systems capability.

Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels.

High attention to detail combined with robust commercial acumen.

Experience in a multi-entity or fast-paced operating environment.

Highly Regarded

Hospitality, tourism, accommodation, winery or food and beverage industry experience.

Experience supporting operational leaders through business partnering.

Exposure to inventory, production or agricultural operations.
