Join our growing and qualified kitchen team at Kondalilla Eco Resort as a Chef. We are recruiting for full-time, part time, and casual roles. You will be in a hands‑on role supporting the kitchen team and helping to oversee the creation of delectable meals for our guests at our beautiful resort in Flaxton, Queensland.

Please note: there is no on‑site staff accommodation available & we are unable to offer sponsorship for visa holders.

What you'll be doing

- Support with the development and implementation of innovative seasonal menus that showcase the best of local produce
- Be part of a motivated team of talented chefs and kitchen staff
- Ensure efficient kitchen operations and high food quality standards are maintained
- Support with food costs, inventory and ordering to optimise profitability
- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment in the kitchen

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2-3 years of professional chef experience required
- Formal culinary training and qualifications
- Certificate IV Kitchen Management qualification required
- Knowledge of food trends,



preparation techniques and presentation
- Good communication and people skills
- Ability to work calmly in a team environment
- Passion for creating innovative, flavoursome dishes
- Commitment to using fresh, locally‑sourced ingredients
- Australian work rights required for this position
