Canopy Early Education Ormiston is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, inspire, and make a meaningful impact on the learning and development of young children within our expanding centre.
For more than three decades, Canopy Early Education® (formally API Childcare Centres) has continually adapted and enhanced our childcare centres to respond to the evolving needs of families.
Our centre provides care and education for children aged 6 months to 5 years, including a government-approved Kindergarten program.AtCanopy Early Education Ormiston, we’re proud to provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow and discover. About the Role
As aLead Educator , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality educational programs and mentoring fellow educators. You will lead your room with confidence, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children.

What We’re Looking For
- Diploma (or working towards) in Early Childhood Education (or higher qualification)
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- National Child Safety Training
- Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
- Strong experience implementing EYLF and documenting children’s learning
- Proven ability to lead a room and support/mentor team members
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A professional, proactive, and collaborative approach
- A genuine passion for high-quality education and care
