The Role
Kent is currently seeking a highly motivated Student Administration and Finance Officer on a Full time basis. This role will be based in our Melbourne Campus (CBD - Queen Street).
The Student Administration and Finance Officer would understand and comply with Kent policies and procedures in student application processing, generating PRISMS documentation, handling potential and current student inquiries, collecting and managing student fees including debt collection, student refunds, enrolment, and record-keeping for all Kent students.
Key Tasks
Processing all payments and issuing payment receipts in Kent's RTO Manager
Issuing and sending student tuition fee payment reminders.
Perform student data entry,
student tuition fees collection and provide necessary reports concerning these functions.
Follow-up and collection of all outstanding fees following Kent's policies and procedures.
Manage student tuition fee refunds or transfers following Kent's policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
Completion of Year 12 with relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education/training.
Intermediate knowledge of Excel (Excel Worksheets - report preparation) and Word.
Knowledge of IT and related student administration systems such as RTO Manager.
Knowledge of basic Accounting principles.

Well-developed customer service focus – all inquiries, including face-to-face, telephone, and electronic mail, are to be attended to efficiently and politely.
Ability to liaise with all Kent staff, students, representatives, clients, and the public effectively and proficiently.
Efficient, accurate and able to work within specific required timelines.
Adaptable and able to work in a diverse team whilst still being able to work independently.
