About the Opportunity

Kick-start your career in Information Security and GRC. This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands‑on experience in risk, compliance and cybersecurity. Working alongside experienced leaders in a supportive and collaborative environment, you'll receive coaching, mentoring and exposure to industry-recognised frameworks, helping you build a strong foundation for a successful career in cyber security and governance.

This Prospect Will See You:

- Assist in identifying, assessing and managing information security risks across the business.
- Support the maintenance of the Information Security Risk Register and remediation activities.
- Assist with compliance activities relating to APRA CPS 234, privacy obligations and information security standards such as ISO 27001.
- Participate in the testing, monitoring and evaluation of information security controls and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the development and maintenance of information security policies, procedures and documentation.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including evidence gathering, compliance assessments and remediation tracking.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen Adica's information security practices and support the implementation of improvements.
- Help deliver information security awareness and training initiatives across the organisation.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a curious and motivated individual with a genuine passion for cyber security, a willingness to learn and a desire to build a career in Information Security.

- A qualification in Cyber Security, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.




- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and develop in Information Security.
- Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Highly Regarded

- Knowledge of APRA CPS 234, ISO 27001, NIST or the Essential Eight.
- Exposure to cyber security, risk, governance or compliance through work, study or internships.
- Experience in financial services, insurance or another regulated environment.
- Familiarity with GRC tools or security platforms.
- Security‑related certifications such as Security+, ISO 27001 Foundation or ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC).
