Electrical Trade Assistant - Immediate Start
We are seeking reliable and motivatedElectrical Trade Assistants to join our growing team working on commercial projects. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with previous electrical training or qualifications obtained overseas who is looking to build their experience in Australia.
About the Role You will assist qualified electricians with:
- Cable installation and termination assistance
- Equipment mounting and general electrical fit-off support
- Testing and commissioning support
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Roughing in cables
- Fitting off cables
Requirements To be considered, applicants must have:
- An electrical qualification or trade certificate from their home country
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Ownership of Tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Driver’s licence preferred
Desirable
- Experience working with commercial switchboards
- Worked on Australian commercial sites
- Exposure to Australian electrical standards
- EWP, Working at Heights, or other relevant tickets
- Based in CBD
