Applications are invited for the position of Grader Operator with the Shire of Coorow. The position is based in Coorow where staff work a nine-day, 90-hour fortnight (including 14 hours overtime). Additional seasonal overtime is also available.

The successful applicant’s wage level will depend on experience. In addition, the Shire offers generous Superannuation advantages and a Housing Allowance for employees who provide their own accommodation. Alternatively, there may be accommodation available to rent from the Shire at a subsidised rent should housing be required.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate competent grader operational & maintenance skills and the ability to run a small team.

Applicants must hold and maintain a current WA driver’s license with a MC class. A pre-placement medical and police clearance will be required by the successful applicant before commencement and a three-month probationary period will apply.
