Due to continued growth and internal development opportunities, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Pre-Press Operator to join our team at our Deer Park manufacturing facility .

About the Role

Reporting to the Pre-Press Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our printing operations by preparing artwork, creating printing plates, managing job files and ensuring production receives accurate and timely information to meet customer requirements.

You will work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Ink Laboratory and Customer Service teams to ensure artwork and print standards meet Interpack's high-quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Checking and reviewing customer supplied artwork files.
- Preparing, imposing and outputting files for proofing and plate production.
- Creating printing plates and screens for manufacturing.




- Producing artwork files in line with customer and production requirements.
- Creating and maintaining job bags and production documentation.
- Assisting with BOM and Route creation within Microsoft D365.
- Supporting colour management, drawdowns and colour standards.
- Reviewing production schedules and ensuring all print information is available prior to manufacture.
- Creating and maintaining print standards and colour references.
- Conducting quality checks on artwork, colour and finished product.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Maintaining a strong focus on Safety, Quality and Productivity.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous experience in a Pre-Press, Printing or Packaging environment.
- Strong knowledge of artwork preparation and colour separation processes.
- Experience with plate making and screen making.
- Sound understanding of PMS colour matching and colour management systems.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite including:
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- InDesign
- Acrobat

- Experience with ESKO software highly regarded including:

- ArtPro
- Studio Visualiser
- Plate Making Systems

- Exposure to AGFA Apogee or similar workflow systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to prioritise work and meet production deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Exposure to Microsoft D365 or other ERP systems would be advantageous.
