About the Position

2 x Grounds Person opportunities for Cardinia Shire Council.

Location: Based at our Pakenham Depot - start and finish work from the Depot

Employment Type: Full-time

Are you greatworking as part of a team, love achieving quality outcomes and operating machinery daily?Do you also love working outdoors, have an eye for detail and a passion for the open space industry? Then we want to hear from you!

As a valued team member, you will be based out of our Pakenham Depot and be responsible for daily mowing, detailing of parks, reserves, and roadsides. Utilising our wide area mowers, front decks and zero turn machines you will become a vital part of our team with your daily tasks will also include(but not limited to):

- Ride-on mower operation

- Brush-cutting

- Edging

- Clearing paths

- General open space tidying and litter collection

Position Requirements

- Minimum 2 years' experience in open spaces operating zero turns, front decks, & wide area mowers

- Australian work rights are required for this position

- Construction Induction Card (White Card/Red Card)

- Valid Driver's License (Medium Rigid is an advantage)

- Traffic Management Certificate/s (An advantage)

- First Aid Certificate (An advantage)
