Disability Support Worker - Medowie - Male workers preferred

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate male disability support workers to provide support and assistance to a 26-year-old female with a traumatic brain injury; this care will help her live independently in her home. Applicants must be interested in fitness and be willing to walk with her a distance of 3 kms daily, prefers male workers between the ages of 26 and 36 years of age.

Duties include but not limited to

- Personal care
- Medication administration
- Assistance with Allied health tasks
- Continence management
- Domestic assistance
- Documentation and reporting

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

Shift times daily

A variety of shifts are available within this program. Please indicate your availability within your application.

Requirements





- Applicants must be willing to provide transport to and from medical appointments and social activities in their own vehicle.
- Have a good fitness level
- Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
- Current references
- Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
- First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
- Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory)
- Certificate III (Ageing or Disability) or equivalent (mandatory)
