We are seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter who is ready to take on a leadership role. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, can lead a team with confidence, and is committed to completing projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

About the Role

As a Leading Hand Carpenter, you will:

- Lead and supervise a small team of carpenters and apprentices.
- Coordinate daily site activities to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Complete aspects of residential carpentry, including, lock-up, fixing, fit-out, decks, pergolas, cladding, and renovations.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety.




- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and other trades.
- Work is located in Geelong and Melbourne's west.

About You

You will have:

- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience leading a team on residential construction projects.
- Solid leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate and mentor apprentices and team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current White Card.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- Own tools preferred
- Experience in volume carpentry would be an advantage.
