About the Role

We're after an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand who takes pride in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. You'll play a key role in supporting our chefs, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and helping ensure our stock is always fresh and well organised.

Key Responsibilities

- Receiving, checking, and rotating stock deliveries to maintain freshness and minimise waste

- Maintaining a clean, organised, and protected kitchen environment at all times

- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently during service

- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation as required

- Managing time effectively to keep up with the pace of a busy kitchen

- Identifying and resolving day-to-day issues quickly and calmly





- Following food hygiene and safety standards at all times

- Working autonomously on assigned tasks while also collaborating well within the wider kitchen team

Skills & Experience Required

- Previous experience in a kitchen hand or similar role preferred

- Experience receiving and rotating stock in a food service environment

- Strong time management and organisational skills

- Good problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude

- Solid understanding of food hygiene and safety practices

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- A current Food Safety Handling certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

- Availability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends
