We're looking for a reliable and motivated Grounds Maintenance Field Operative to help maintain a client's assets across the Ballarat region. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in your work and want a stable role with a supportive team, this could be the perfect fit.
Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Work safely and responsibly at all times
- Represent the Company and Client in a professional manner at all times
- Communicate with Field Manager
- Grounds Maintenance
- Lawn and Small Vacant Land care
- Weeding and garden maintenance
- External drain cleaning
- Waste removal
- Vegetation eradication around assets
- Asset maintenance
- Minor fence repairs
- Minor ground surface repair
- Minor graffiti removal
- Minor structure repairs
- Cleaning
- Common areas including toilets & lunchrooms
- Restocking consumables
- Cobwebs
- Basic computer skills are required for Electronic Work Management System operation
- Ensure vehicle is adequately stocked at all times
- Document handling and data control
- Ensure Contract KPI's and schedules are being met.
- Maintaining contract compliance
- Adhoc duties where required

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' previous experience in any maintenance role is required
- Driver's license required
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions
- Robust attention to detail & pride in presentation
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Australian work rights are required for this position
Work Locations
This role involves working across various sites throughout Ballarat and surrounding suburbs.
Applicants will be supplied a reliable vehicle but MUST have the ability to maintain its security at all times. Off‑street parking is preferred at your place of residence to ensure safe storage of company equipment, tools and materials where required.
